Bio

I was born in the depths of Apartheid — a white male navigating a world built on division. For my sins, I studied the unexciting world of Accounting, a discipline that taught me structure but left me searching for meaning.

My career has zigzagged between the corporate corridors and the hustle of my own SMME. Along the way, I’ve gathered a mosaic of cross-cultural experiences that opened my eyes to South Africa’s immense diversity — and its persistent divides.

Three decades into democracy, we’ve made undeniable progress. Yet we remain, in many ways, a society of Black and White, Us and Them. The schisms are subtle and loud, historical and present.

Beyond the Divide is my response. A platform for dialogue, reflection, and societal interaction. My aim is simple: to help us see each other more clearly, speak more honestly, and move — together — Beyond the Divide
